Worship at St. Johns is formal as well as informal; liturgical and yet flows freely. Our worship reaches back into the cherished traditions of the whole Church and also speaks the language of the contemporary heart. Our worship offers praise to the Triune God and shapes our being as pilgrims on our journey of faith.
Join us for worship each Sunday at 8:30am – a non-music Holy Communion service held in Leiby Chapel. This service is about ½ hour in length. The 10:45am Service of the Word is offered in the Sanctuary and lasts about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Our 6pm Thursday Holy Communion is ½ hour in length. And our First Sunday service specifically designed with children and their families also is about ½ hour with communion. All baptized persons are welcome at the communion Table here at St. John’s.
OUR CHURCH SCHOOL CHILDREN will be singing at 10:45am on May16....they will invite the congregation to join them too!
SPECIAL MUSIC will be offered by the St. John's Bells of Praise on Pentecost, May 23 during the 10:45am service. Wear red or something with red in it as we celebrate the Festival of Pentecost.
VETERANS groups are coming on May 30 at 10:45am. Honor our veterans with your presence as we all worship the Triune God.
