Church School for All Ages, Including Special Study Opportunities for Adults

prayer services, spiritual formation groups, Bible and Faith Study groups

Church School Every Sunday at 9:30am from September through June

Fellowship Opportunities and programs for Youth, Young Adults and Adults

What we Do Together as Servants
IN OUR LOCAL
CONGREGATION, WE:
- Provide
leadership for Community Service Programs such as Relay For Life, CPR
training, community service for adjudicated youth at the community garden,
Communities of Faith of Phoenixville, Phoenixville Chamber of Commerce,
Phoenixville Hospital Community health Education
- Offer
Facilities to Community Organizations such as Brownies, and Community Health Education programs
- Gather
Clothing, Blankets, Tools, Food and other aterials
for those in need locally, regionally and globally
- Provide
and administer St. Johns United Church of Christ Organic Community Garden to
aid in the local fight against hunger and to provide community service for
Chester County Juvenile Probation Office adjudicated youth and St. Gabriel’s
Hall Mitchell Program youth as well as local opportunity for community service
from the high school and organization groups, including fraternity and
sorority houses in the area
- Engage
in Christ's mission in our community, Ursinus
Association, Pennsylvania Southeast Conference, the United Church of Christ
and throughout the world
- Provide leadership with community ecumenical and
interfaith groups including the Phoenixville Clergy Association and the
Phoenixville Area Interfaith Council and offer prime leadership to helping the
community in times of emergency.
- Offer a parish nursing ministry within the
congregation and providing leadership to the whole community through CPR
training and also working with the Phoenixville Hospital Community Health
Education program . We also provide blood pressure
screening, flu shots, fall assessment and other health education resources
through our parish nursing ministry in cooperation with the Phoenixville
Hospital and the Phoenixville Health Foundation
- Provide direct ministries, advocacy, personnel and
financial support in primary mission areas of children, health care and
environmental justice
